Whether it was playing baseball at the park, splashing around at the beach or the pool, riding bikes around the neighborhood, or swinging on a rope swing with friends at a treehouse in the backyard, childhood friends, Jason Pennington and Hunter Stapp, loved being outside during the summer. So when they decided to open The Dairy Dog, they wanted to create an experience that reminded them of their childhood. They kept coming back to the idea of a backyard cookout, just enjoying time outside with friends and family, oh and dogs too. Food fresh off the grill. Beer snagged right from the cooler.
